As a weight loss coach, the best you can do is… be a coach! Keep the encouragement up so your clients stick with their diet and exercise journals. Check your clients’ progress each time you meet, address any set backs, then make a plan to move on.

As their coach, you can help your clients by praising and rewarding their successes, being a sounding board during major set backs, but mostly by being their friend.
